Heart attack or Angina pain could be dismissed or missed if due consideration is not paid.

It is thought that half of the heart attacks go unnoticed sometimes as the signs and manifestations of a heart attack could be of some other condition.

Individuals may self-medicate with painkillers not realizing it is a heart attack. The more common indication of a heart attack is left-sided chest pain, emanating to arms and jaws.

However, these symptoms are missing in half of the sufferers. Sometimes people may experience perspiration, sickness or anxiety.

A few people may get pain in the jaw, and seek the assistance of their dentist.

If the dental treatment has not helped consider if it is Angina or a heart attack. Some middle-aged people unexpectedly experience wind and weight in the chest. This could be a sign of a heart attack.

Preventative action to forestall a heart attack is a better approach. A healthy lifestyle, controlling stress, healthy eating, regular exercising, stopping smoking are key in the strategy to avoid a heart attack.

70% of heart attacks happen in homes. If you see someone having a heart attack CPR or coronary pulmonary resuscitation is required immediately. If you don’t know how to do this learn the technique for free. Sign up at www.makeitbeat.org.uk.
